We had a Green-Schools Assembly in the hall on Thursday 30th January. All classes from 3rd-6th came to the hall to listen to our presentation on Global citizenship and the Marine Environment. The committee members talked about marine litter, the sources of marine litter and how to prevent it entering our waterways. 4th class did a project on the TBYF campaign: Think Before You Flush and 6th class presented a project on Microplastics. We had a short quiz at the end just to see who had been listening and there were some spot prizes given out! Here are a few photos of our Assembly.
