4th Class 2017/2018
Incredible Edibles April 2018
In April, our class and Ms Wilkins class did some planting for our Incredible Edible project. We planted strawberries, chives, potatoes, turnips and lettuce seeds in pots in our classroom. We watered them and watched them grow. We monitored and measured the potato stalk every day. After 3 weeks we transferred them outside and put them in the ground. We water them every day. It was fun and I really enjoyed planting especially outside. I am looking forward to eating some delicious fresh vegetables and fruit.

Our Egyptian play
Our 4th class were learning about Ancient Egypt and we decided to perform a play and dance about Ancient Egypt. We did some
research in the computer room. We had great fun researching lots of fun facts. We made some posters of Egyptian landmarks and historical figures like Tutkanhamun, the Sphinx, Cairo, hieroglyphic symbols and the Pyramids.

Céilí agus la Glas
Céili agus Lá Glas
During Seachtain na Gaeilge we had a céilí and a Lá Glas. We all dressed up in green. We danced Shoe the Donkey with the junior infants in the hall. We danced the Walls of Limerick for the junior classes. We sang Galway Girl in Irish for them too. We got sweets and stickers. It was wonderful. After a while Mrs Power picked the winners of the Poster competition for Easter and St. Patricks Day. Makayla and Ciara won the art competition and received a big chocolate Easter egg and everyone else got delicious cream eggs. We had a great day.
